Event Registration Terms and Conditions

Pricing and Refunds

1. Fees for each event are published on event page within the PROTRADE United Pty Ltd website. Fees may include alternative prices for PROTRADE United Pty Ltd clients, PROTRADE United Pty Ltd partner members or customers and reduced rates for multiple ticket purchases.
2. Payment of fees is required upon registration. Where payment of fees by a registrant is in excess of the advertised price, a refund will be provided for the additional amount paid.
3. All transactions are processed in Australian Dollars (AUD).
4. PROTRADE United Pty Ltd will not guarantee registration at an event until full payment has been received.
5. Registrants who fail to attend an event will be liable for all advertised fees.
6. Subject to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010, refunds will not be given for registrations cancelled prior to the commencement of the event. A substitute attendee will be accepted provided written notification is given to PROTRADE United Pty Ltd via hello@protradeunited.com.au prior to the commencement of the event.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

6. PROTRADE United Pty Ltd reserves the right to cancel or postpone a scheduled event to an alternative date. All registered participants affected by such a change will be contacted and offered the opportunity to transfer to the next available event or, where an equivalent event is not available, to receive a full refund.
7. PROTRADE United Pty Ltd reserves the right to alter a program/event or presenter without further notice; however, the program is intended to run as advertised.

Media Release

By signing up to and attending a PROTRADE United Pty Ltd Event, I agree to the following:

8. PROTRADE United Pty Ltd, its employees and contractors have the right to take, store, edit and utilise photographs or video recordings of me whilst I am in attendance of a PROTRADE United Pty Ltd event.
9. PROTRADE United Pty Ltd will have the right to utilise my name, photographs of me, video recording of me and any other information concerning me for promotional and other purposes related to the purposes of and activities undertaken by PROTRADE United Pty Ltd.
10. I release PROTRADE United Pty Ltd from any liability to me for any infringement of any of my rights arising from PROTRADE United Pty Ltd’s use of the photographs and/or video recording.
11. I understand I can contact PROTRADE United Pty Ltd at any time to withdraw my consent so as to prevent any future use of photographs or video I am identifiable in.

Acceptance

12. By registering for a PROTRADE United Pty Ltd event (including master classes, workshops and awards presentations), you acknowledge and accept the PROTRADE United Pty Ltd Event Registration Terms and Conditions as set out herein.

Security Capabilities & Policy for Transmission of Payment

What information is collected at time of registration?

When you register for an event through this website, we need to know your name, e-mail, business name and contact phone number to secure your place, as well as credit card details for payment. This allows us to process and fulfil your order successfully. It also helps us in maintaining your records.

How does PROTRADE United Pty Ltd protect customer information?

We use a secure server, so when you register for an event, the secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. Furthermore, all of the sensitive customer data we collect is protected by several layers of encryption and several layers of security to prevent unauthorised access.

Credit Card Details

All credit card payments are processed securely through Westpac. PROTRADE United Pty Ltd does not store any credit card information on our servers.

Cookies

“Cookies” are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive. Our cookies do not contain any personally identifying information. They allow you to register for an event and process your payment. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually change your browser to prevent that.
