Frequently Asked Questions

Mastery sessions will generally fall on the same day each month (e.g. 3rd Thursday of the month), however this may change due to public holidays or group consensus for special occasions.

You will have been given a group schedule prior to and at your first session, so ensure all these dates are in your diary. If you are unsure of a day or require a copy of the schedule, please contact us.

We send sms reminder messages 2 days prior to any session. Please let us know if you are not receiving these messages so that we can update your details.

The impact of missing a Business Mastery session is far greater than just missing out on the content that will be covered for the day. The personal growth of individuals and the connectedness of the group compounds every session, and when you miss a session, you also miss out on key communication between the group and the opportunities that may present themselves. The ideas and solutions that are developed and the community environment that evolves in each session is where the real magic lies in the Business Mastery program.

So, to avoid missing a session we encourage you to do whatever it takes to be at every Business Mastery session. This means:

  1. Scheduling the session dates in your diary for the whole year and making them a priority
  2. Planning for contingencies that may affect your ability to attend – i.e. staff going on holiday, busy periods at work, etc.
  3. Have someone assist you to manage the business/take calls for the 7 hours that you are at PROTRADE United for the day

If you do miss a session knowing in advance that will not be able to make it, due to pre-scheduled activities such as family vacations and business trips that are unavoidable or if you are ill/an emergency occurs, then it is recommended that you take the following actions:

  1. Communicate as soon as you can with your Business Mastery coach and buddy that you will not be able to make the session
  2. A copy of the notes and any other handouts that are given will be sent out.
  3. Organise to meet up with your Business Mastery buddy as soon as possible after the session, so that they can run through with you the main points of the content covered

Should you have any queries about the content after catching up with you buddy then call or email your Business Mastery coach for clarification.

In short, the answer is NO. The reason being:

As you know the Business Mastery environment is totally confidential. Information is shared at a level that requires a high level of trust. Now, even though we trust everyone to honour this, when you have a stranger in the room that has not been privy to the context or history of a situation, it can affect the openness of the communication and the ability of the person who is sharing to get the most out of the coaching. It has been suggested that it is like an intruder entering the room. This is not personal, however we do know that it can affect the dynamics of the room, particularly when a group has started to bond and form a community.
